How does SFR Superior Flat Reduction work?

Answer

SFR Superior Flat Reduction is filled with synthetic Kevlar fibers that are flexible and stronger than steel. When a puncture occurs in the treated tire, the fibers are drawn into the hole, forming a permanent seal. SFR is the most advanced tire sealant on the market and is designed specifically for demanding industrial applications.

Question

Will SFR Superior Flat Reduction extend the life of my tires?

Answer

Yes, due to its unique formulation it is engineered to seal the pores of the tire thus preventing air loss and reduced tire pressure. Air loss is common, especially with untreated steel belted radial tires. Such air loss results in premature wear and poor fuel economy. Out of balance tires can also lessen tire life and vibration may be magnified, but with SFR Superior Flat Reduction these problems can be reduced.

Question

Why do you recommend more SFR Superior Flat Reduction in off road or recreational tires?

Answer

Off road and all terrain vehicle tires are usually made of softer rubber and are more pliable. Because rubber is elastic, for shock absorption, additional product may be necessary to prevent holes from re-opening. In over the road tires this does not happen. However, we recommend that you remove any foreign objects such as nails from tire, because additional movement of a nail could re-open the hole.

Question

How do I apply Superior Flat Reduction into my tires?

Answer

First refer to our tire chart for the correct amount to apply. Remove the valve stem from the tire, make sure that there is less than thirty pounds of pressure in the tire. Place the valve applicator chuck located on the end of the hose of the SFR Flat Reduction Pump on the tires valve stem. The pump has designations so you will know how much SFR you are applying. Pump it in and then return the tyre to the proper pressure.

Question

Can SFR Superior Flat Reduction be used in tires that contain other chemicals such as calcium carbonate solutions that are used for weight?

Answer

No, SFR Superior Flat Reduction cannot be used in the presence of other chemicals in a tire.
