When should I use ProTecta High Mileage rather than Gaszol or SFR 100?
If you have over 50,000 miles on your vehicle and have not used Gaszol or SFR 100 since the car was new, it will have an accumulation of deposits and engine wear. ProTecta High Mileage, with its extra detergency will clean the engine to prevent wear from contaminants.
Also, ProTecta High Mileage has special anti-wear agents to prevent further accelerated wear in the engine.
ProTecta contains special seal conditioners, as on older vehicles the seals have a tendency to dry out, become brittle and they contract, which can lead to leaks. ProTecta?s special conditioners rejuvenate the seals so that they are once again are soft and the correct size to prevent nasty and unsightly leaks.
Why do I only need to use ProTecta High Mileage every 6000 miles?
ProTecta with its high detergency, seal conditioning and anti-wear agents will protect for at least 6000 miles based on fleet testing. If you change oil every 3000 miles then we recommend that you use the ProTecta Oil Booster between use of ProTecta High Mileage.
ProTecta High Mileage is a synthetic and I use petroleum motor oil are they compatible?

Can I use ProTecta High Mileage as an oil booster or to extend drain intervals?
Yes, ProTecta High Mileage has been proven as a drain interval extender between oil changes. If you are late on an oil change and do not have time to change your oil right away, ProTecta High Mileage with its reserve alkalinity system and enhanced detergents ProTecta will extend your drain interval. Recommended drain interval with petroleum motor oil of no more than 4500 miles!
